Martine Chappuis
Gazing, possibly furtively touching the material of Martine Chappuis’s sculptures is a priviledged sensation. The free, dynamic, refined vegetal and morphological forms of her bronze sculptures have their roots in the various cultures and places around the world, during her astonishingly rich existence. And faced with the rarity now of the noble material that is bronze, the artist does not hesitate to turn to other sources, such as concrete or resin, for a work to which she devotes all her passion.
Charles Chirinian
Perfectionnist at heart, architect and urban planner, Charles Chirinian is also a painter and immerse himself in a communicative joy in colour for the realization of this combinations, which invite the spectator experimenting with an infinity of possibilities : for a painting with four panels, more than six thousand combinations are possible. The artist also executed a series of works on the theme pf Golden Ratio, several which are to be discovered in the exhibition.
Pierre Oulevay
An experienced artist, winner of numerous awards, throughout his career, sculptor, painter, engraver and draftsman, Pierre Oulevay creates a series of works of tarpaulins for his exhibition. True to himself and as he knows how to execute them so well, the artist paints, according to his words, “abstract forms evoking human morphology, the original and archaic memory, fragment of the unfinished life arising from the inert”.
